Target Group
Children, adolescents and adults, who are presumed to have thorough developmental disturbances – Asperger Syndrome – infantile autism or other similar developmental disorders.

Diagnostic Assessments – Educational /Psychological Examination
Diagnostic assessments and psychological examinations of children, adolescents and adults who presumably have autism, Asperger Syndrome or other thorough developmental disorders.

The diagnostic account and the psychological examinations are conducted as an out-patient treatment and are planned in cooperation with parents, relatives, caseworkers, employees from institutions or the like.

The work is concluded with a report and a meeting is held in which the ongoing process and the diagnosis is accounted for.

Follow-up
Using the examination results as a starting point the report will include suggestions/ideas for treatment strategies for optimal stimulation.

With the intention to assist with relevant treatment and educational methods and strategies the Counselling Department offers, according to agreement, a continuous follow-up and counselling with individual dialogs and counselling sessions – including therapy.

Counselling/Supervision/Dialogs
Individual dialogs, group dialogs and supervision is offered to parents, professional employees, relatives and other network- persons with the purpose of finding relevant treatment and educa-tional methods.

Courses
Autism Center Nord-Bo offers various types of courses, conferences and group courses addressed to parents, siblings and rela-tives, persons with thorough developmental disorders – Asperger Syndrome – infantile autism – other similar developmental disorders and professionals within the field.
