Day Care Treatment Program on Autism Center Nord-Bo.
The day care treatment program on Autism Center Nord-Bo includes individually organized and structured educational concepts for adolescents and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder including Asperger Syndrome and other contact difficulties.

The entire day care treatment program on Autism Centre Nord-Bo has a daily schedule from:
Monday: 8 am to 3.30 pm
Tuesday: 8 am to 3.30 pm
Wednesday: 8 am to 3 pm
Thursday: 8 am to 3.30 pm
Friday: 8 am to 12 pm
Once a week during the winter club activities are arranged from 4 pm till 9 pm.
It is required that the adults and adolescents are transported to and from Autism Center Nord-Bo or that they are able to make their own way via local bus network.
The opening hours of the Day Care Treatment Center are 205 days on a yearly basis.
The following is included in the day care treatment program:
Internal Education/Educational Training
The following courses are offered: Danish, English, Mathematics, Common Knowledge and EDP. Moreover History, Geography, Biology, Nature/Technique and Religion are to be integrated in the teaching of the specific field. IT will be included in all courses in general.
External Education/Educational Training
The adults and adolescents will be motivated to take single courses on VUC (Danish School Program for Adults) and in that way aim to have a »package of courses« which corresponds to a prescribed qualifying exam. (For example a »package« consisting of Danish, Mathematics and English or a an upper secondary shorter general education program exam).
Experiences show good results by using other external educational programs such as technical college, business schools, music conservatories or Universities.
Autism Center Nord-Bo provides educational guidance to each individual person. Moreover, in cooperation with external guidance counsellors Autism Center Nord-Bo provides educational guidance in regards of making a plan for a long-term educational program.

The structure of the work at Autism Center Nord-Bo is based on individual goals and plans of conduct.
At least once a year a status meeting is held where parents, case-workers, the adult or adolescent, personal adviser employee, head of department or the principle attend. Status description and plans of conduct are prepared for each meeting.
